How does the Learning Centre Work?

  1. We will meet with you and your child to do an intake assessment and review his/her most recent report card.
  2. After reviewing the results of the assessment your child will be placed on a program to help them with their areas of need.
  3. Your child will be reassessed in the middle and the end of the program to re-evaluate next steps.
  4. Your child will benefit from our 4:1 student teacher ratio.

Programs:

Little Learners (ages 3-5)

Join us for a unique program that boosts your child’s core oral language, reading, writing, and numeracy skills. We will work with your child to develop essential skills that they will need when entering grade one. The program is designed around the Ontario Kindergarten expectations and combines the key factors of Brain Gym to ultimately give your child the head of the class advantage! Research has shown that a good preschool program should:
  • Involve the parents or the caregiver in the learning process.
  • Place an emphasis on learning through play.
  • Place equal importance on the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of the child.
  • In general, the entire learning process must mean fun for the child and not something forceful.
We meet all of these goals in our Little Learners Programs.
